Section 4

Required Documentation

Clients must submit the following documents upon booking confirmation:

  • Passport-sized photograph
  • Copy of valid passport
  • All necessary booking and travel forms
For expeditions above 7,000 meters, clients must provide documentation of high-altitude experience and mountaineering history. Navigate Globe will not be held responsible for any issues arising from failure to submit required documentation in a timely manner.
Section 5

Insurance & Travel Risks

Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory before departure. Your insurance must cover:

  • Medical expenses
  • Emergency evacuation and rescue
  • Trip cancellation
  • Personal belongings
Navigate Globe assumes no liability or financial responsibility for any losses or expenses not covered by the client's insurance policy. Air evacuation options may be limited in certain remote regions.
Section 6

Incomplete Trips

Clients will not be entitled to any compensation if they are unable to commence or complete a trek or expedition due to personal reasons, including but not limited to injury or illness. Navigate Globe accepts no liability for government permit revocations due to unforeseen circumstances.

Section 7

Client Compliance & Authority

Clients must adhere to all local laws, regulations, and customs throughout their trip. Navigate Globe bears no responsibility for clients engaging in any illegal activities. Any legal consequences arising from a client's actions are solely the client's responsibility.

The team leader or guide holds ultimate authority during the trek or expedition. Clients agree to follow instructions from guides and staff without exception to ensure group safety. Staff will mediate any disputes; local authorities may be involved if necessary.

Section 8

Itinerary Modifications & Additional Costs

Standard packages are designed based on extensive industry experience. Upon request, we can modify itineraries to accommodate specific client needs, provided that additional time and costs are agreed upon at the time of booking.

Circumstances beyond our control may necessitate itinerary or pricing changes, which will be communicated and agreed upon by both parties. Client-induced factors such as damage to equipment, itinerary delays, or requests for additional services beyond the original agreement may result in additional costs.

Section 9

Early Completion of Schedule

In cases where a trip schedule is completed earlier than the designated timeframe, no refund will be issued for the unused portion of the itinerary. Once a trip has commenced, no refunds are provided regardless of early completion.

Section 10

Early Trip Termination

Clients who choose to prematurely end their trip due to personal emergencies or unforeseen circumstances will incur additional charges. These fees account for logistical adjustments, which typically require one to two additional days to arrange.

Section 11

Non-Transferability of Services

All services provided by Navigate Globe are strictly non-transferable. Bookings cannot be transferred to another person, including:

  • Accommodations
  • Flights
  • Government permits
  • Transport services
  • Guiding services

Unused services cannot be claimed or used by anyone other than the original booking holder.

Section 12

Flight Cancellations

Financial compensation for flight cancellations (domestic or international) will not be provided unless the cancellation is directly caused by Navigate Globe's actions. In the event of cancellations beyond our control, we will assist by arranging alternative accommodations subject to applicable charges.

Section 13

Overnight Stays & Meals

Clients are responsible for accommodation and meal expenses for overnight stays caused by client circumstances or flight cancellations. If an overnight stay is caused due to Navigate Globe's actions, we will cover the costs of accommodations.

Section 14

Agreement of Services

Trekking and expedition destinations often present challenging conditions far removed from modern conveniences. While we strive to deliver the best possible experience, exact expectations may not always be achievable due to remote locations and variable conditions. We appreciate our clients' understanding and flexibility in adapting to such situations.

Section 15

Equipment & Materials

If Navigate Globe provides any materials, gear, or equipment, the client is obligated to return all items to our designated representative upon completion of the trip. Compensation for any damage will be determined by Navigate Globe.

Section 16

Photography & Publicity

Navigate Globe may request clients' permission to use photographs and videos captured during trips for marketing and promotional activities. Client privacy is paramount and will be strictly protected. No materials will be used without prior consent.

Section 17

Children & Age Requirements

In accordance with Nepal Government Mountaineering Rules, individuals under the age of sixteen (16) are prohibited from climbing any mountain peak. Trekking is permitted for minors under the supervision of a legal guardian. All individuals below the age of sixteen must be accompanied by a legal guardian for any trips.

Section 18

Extra Activities

Clients must inform Navigate Globe of any desired extra activities (such as skiing, drone flights, paragliding, or special flag-waving) prior to the commencement of the trip. Additional government fees may apply.

Undertaking such activities without prior notification constitutes a violation of regulations and may result in legal consequences and additional costs, for which the client is solely responsible.
Section 19

Modifications & Changes

Clients must notify Navigate Globe via email at least two weeks prior to departure for any requested modifications. If changes necessitate the cancellation of non-refundable items such as government permits, travel tickets, or insurance, the client will be responsible for all associated costs.
